elevated iV1ri It is with immense sadness we share the tragic and unexpected passing of Felice (Phil) Gintoli, at the age of 54, on Sunday, October 9th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
elevated iV1ri Born in Toronto, on August 15th, 1968, Phil is the beloved firstborn son of Carmen and Assunta Gintoli. The cherished and proud father of Alexander, Francesca, and Giuliana, who will forever honour their dad in all they do. Phil is also the beloved partner of Jacquline Keith, who will miss him beyond measure. Also survived by his loving siblings, Grace (Mike), Maria (Mario), Robert (Heather), his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces/nephews, his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his extended family at the St. Lawrence Market. A loss so great for all who loved him, they that knew him, and those that wished they had.
elevated iV1ri Phil had many passions in life, his first being his children, his second being a career at Ponesse Foods that spanned his love of all things produce, for over 40 years! You could always find him, the Berry King himself, filling, adjusting, and presenting his masterpieces of all things berries at his home away from home, the St Lawrence Market bringing smiles to all that met him. A sports fanatic, the Toronto Maple Leafs were his team and he never stopped believing they’d finally bring the cup home!

Chatting with Phil was a pleasure. I will miss, but always remember, teasing him about the Maple Leafs and seeing that look of frustration on his face when they lose. Take comfort in knowing that many people have been touched by Phil and that his memory will live forever.
