a eulogy for my Fathers Eldest Sibling
A Life Made Beautiful
“Yours was a life well spent.” We gather today to honor someone who understood that life is what you make it—and they truly made it beautiful. From the paths they walked to the lives they touched, the vibrancy of their well-lived life never fades. They lived with a love that served as an inspiration to us all, proving that a life lived for others is the greatest legacy one can leave behind.
Your Heart Was Home
To those of us closest to them, the loss is immeasurable. “Your heart was home,” and without that shelter, the world feels a bit colder. We find ourselves navigating a grief that is profound, yet we are reminded that the only thing deeper than the pain of losing them was the love we shared. Each tear shed today is not just a mark of sadness, but a vessel holding immeasurable love. Their footsteps can never be filled, nor will their love ever be forgotten.
A Journey Continued
We recognize that a circle, a journey, a river, a path—life and death are part of us all. While we may not know exactly what comes next, we are certain of one thing: “It is a better place with you in it.”
As you transition from this life, may the blessings of a good life lived follow you into the afterlife. May heaven’s gate stand open for you, and may an angel’s chorus greet you in heaven. We ask that you be a guide unto the spirits now, just as you were a guide to us during your time on earth.
“Rest in peace with eternal sleep,” find the rest you so richly deserve, and know that you will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
Tito Boy, may you rest in eternal peace. Forever in our hearts and never to be forgotten. 🙏 💕
