elevated TmViV It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nardo Iafrate on Tuesday April 14, 2020 at the age of 85.
elevated TmViV Loving husband to Donata for 62 years, cherished father to Anna (Marco), Luciano (Mary), Silvana (Paul) and Tonino and caring grandfather to Anthony and Nicholas.
elevated TmViV We love you and miss you so much ♥
elevated TmViV Nardo was hardworking and took pride in everything he did and accomplished. He was a master carpenter and a talented landscaper and he enjoyed spending time in the garden and being outdoors. He was kindhearted, generous and always there to help family, friends, and neighbors in need.
elevated TmViV A private funeral service for immediate family only will take place on Saturday April 18, 2020 at 10:00am.
elevated TmViV A memorial service and reception will be held in honour of Nardo Iafrate at a later date for family and friends.
elevated TmViV In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

I’m so sorry, Silvana. My condolences to you and to all your family, especially during these trying times.
My family and I send our condolences to Silvana and the entire Iafrate family. Nardo was greatly respected and loved by us. He was a kind, hard-working, and loving family man. We greatly respected that he immigrated to Canada without knowing the languages, but persevered through his hard work and dedication to establish a home, a loving family and create a lasting positive legacy in this country. He could always be counted on to help out anyone who needed it, and always had a very infectious smile that brightened any room. He will be sadly missed but will always be honoured in our hearts. May God console his entire family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time, and may He bestow upon Nardo eternal happiness and peace. With sincere sympathies and love, Paul
Tony, words are never adequate in moments like these. I will say though, that my heart go out to all the family, and I will always remember that I was privileged to have had in knowing your father.

Nardo was a kind soul. I remember the first time that I met him he welcomed me in and show David and I around his gardens which you could see he took pride in. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work. I’m want to extend my condolences to the entire family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are truly saddened for your loss.
