elevated fqINg On December 21, 2024 Nellie was called home to Heaven to reunited with her family before her. She is predeceased by her husband George, daughter Lia and granddaughter Rebecca.
elevated fqINg Loving mother to Jeff(Tracy) and Patricia. Cherished Nana to James, Len, Christina(Mariano), Rob, Terri, Mason(Steph), Lindsey(Sam), Miah, Maggie and Jasmine.

Nana always made me feel like part of the family. She will be missed.
Nana , a classy lady full of grace , true warrior is now resting easy with her loved ones. She was loved and cared so much .

My condolences to your family. I know Tante Nel was a wonderful caring and loving person, always looking out for her grandchildren when they needed her and helping out her kids whenever she could. I remember visiting her at her house in Whitby just down from we lived. She was a beautiful person inside and out and my mom Tante Bep and her were great friends.

Nellie was such a vibrant and caring person. I have memories of her and George in their big white house, always full of family and friends. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Kortekaas family. I am sure Nellie and George are together again.
I didn’t get the pleasure of “Nana’s” company much, but she was a lovely woman, and by all accounts she gave her all to her family. With respect & admiration, and sympathy to all the family, Kelly (Sam’s mum)

Nellie was an amazing lady so kind so thoughtful so strong she will always be missed. My deepest condolences to the Kortekaas family and extended family during these sad times. Lately I’ve been reflecting on the old days when I knew her well and can only remember all good things that’s the lady she was.
Our deepest sympathy to Jeff, Tracy, Patty, Winston and your families. Tante Nel was such a lovely, considerate and special Lady. She was an amazing person, who handled all of her challenges with such grace and compassion. You must be saddened by your loss, but happy to know that she is united with Uncle George, Lia and granddaughter Rebecca.
