elevated iw8Tb It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Nick Stertz on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Stertz. Cherished father of Rosemarie (Paul) and Monika (Len). Devoted and caring Opa to Sean, Carrie and James (Fong). Proudest great grandfather of Kai and Sebastian. Nick will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
Opa and Oma my heart is bleeding I miss you so much but I know you are together again. When I went in the restroom at the service Opa I heard nice music playing with ocean waves in the background and immediately thought of you meeting me at the Ocean shore I will meet you both some day there I love you so much. Your grandson Sean
I just found this announce on the internet…I’m very sorry for your loss. I’ve seen him only once when we were visiting from Montreal in Toronto with my father Matthias Stertz -his half-brother, who just became a Canadian resident but unfortunately died in January 2012. He had the same tall forehead like my dad and the same German accent and a little winery in the back of the house. I have an old family picture of their grandparents my dad was cherishing.
