elevated DxU3l December 8, 1932 – September 17, 2021

elevated DxU3l It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing  of Nicola Calabrese on Friday September 17, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 60 years to Nunzia. Caring and devoted father to Chiara (Joe) and Michael (Rita). Proud Nonno to Rosanna, Nicholas, Noah and Sebastian.  Nicola will be reunited in heaven with his loving siblings and will always be remembered by his sister Vincenza (Vincenzo) and many family and friends.

elevated DxU3l Nicola’s love for his children and grandchildren knew no limits; he expressed his unconditional love for his family at every opportunity; a warm embrace, a charismatic smile or a serenade.  His dedication to his wife, Nunzia, of 60 years, was displayed by his steadfast loyalty and love for her.  He was a “master” carpenter who had an eye for precision and detail.  He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.  Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

elevated DxU3l The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm on Tuesday September 21, 2021.
