elevated rK4mT Obituary
In Loving Memory of Noreen Carella
elevated rK4mT Noreen was born on March 7, 1931, in the town of Rocca San Giovanni, Italy, to the late Letizia and Tommaso D’Amario. She grew up surrounded by the love of her siblings: the late Linda (the late John), the late Armando (Esterina), the late Ercole (Franca), Louie, and Mafalda (Elio).
elevated rK4mT It is with deep sadness that we announce her passing. Noreen was the devoted wife of the late Nicola; loving mother to Antoinette (Ercole) and Frank (Elaine); cherished grandmother to Claudia (Rafael), Amanda (Don), Nicholas (Natasha), Anthony (Sydney), Victoria (Ethan), Brianna, and Elyse; and adoring great-grandmother to Sienna, Oliver, Isaiah, Felicia, Luna, Steely, and Liliana. Noreen passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2025, at the age of 94.
elevated rK4mT After immigrating to Canada at the age of 17 in pursuit of a better life, Noreen brought with her a deep love for family, tradition, and hard work. She built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aroma of her exquisite cooking and baking – gifts she shared generously with everyone around her.
elevated rK4mT Noreen’s laugh – bright, unmistakable, and wonderfully contagious – could fill a room and lift the spirits of all who heard it. It will forever echo in the memories of those who loved her. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her courage, and her endless devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on through the loved ones she cherished above all else.
elevated rK4mT She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
elevated rK4mT In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to CAMH.

Thank you, Commara Julie and family. Your words and thoughts are very comforting and kind. My mom always had fond memories of your beautiful mom, as I still do.
We only recently learned about the passing of “Aunty Norrie” and are so very sorry. I have such wonderful memories of her beautiful smile and gentle manner from days spent at the home of my Aunt & Uncle who were next door neighbours on Victory Dr. We are deeply saddened and are sending Antionette, Frankie and all the family our sincere condolences. Losing a parent at any time is difficult but around the holidays makes it that much more painful. Hopefully your wonderful memories and the beautiful traditions passed down will continue for many years in your mom’s memory. May she rest in peace. xoxo
