I will forever have precious memories of my Mom, ” Norma”.
When my Father brought me home to meet her; I felt like I was meeting the Queen of England. And, she truly was comparable in sight and mannerisms.
Her compassion towards me was a Blessing, as well as for the rest of our Family. Such a loving and kind soul she was. I will truly miss her; as we’d not seen each other for some time, because of our dreadful world situation.
Now, you’re safe in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
God Bless, ’til we meet once again dear one.
Love you much, Hugs, Patricia 🙂
Norma was a friend and neighbour for over 60 years. When my mom and dad moved from 60 Gilley, it was an emotional time for all of us. Norma remained in our lives and a tremendous support to me when each of my parents passed away. She and I decided she would become my “Toronto mom” and we shared many hours over tea and lunch, reminiscing about the past and laughing over so many stories. She always asked about my family, and interested to hear the latest news and see photos. She was, and always will be, my kids Aunt Norma, who lived next door on Gilley. So many fond memories to cherish. I will miss our chats and that last close connection I had to my life on Gilley Road. I am grateful for our time together and glad Norma is now at peace and free from pain. On behalf of my family, I extend sincerest condolences to all of Norma’s family and friends. She will be sadly missed by many.
I knew Norma when I lived on Gilley Road after I moved away we still kept in touch and tried to meet up a couple times a year. Norma was very strong and independent I loved her and will miss her.
Just found out about Norma. I was her neighbor about 10 years ago. One day I seen her walking her dog who was pulling her around. I offered to help her walk her dog and did that for a few months. She became my grandmother. Always kept in touch through her cards, and phone calls. I’d send her flowers on her birthday every year. R.i.p Norma.
We will meet again one day. Love Dan
