elevated 29MgT With profound sadness and love, we announce the passing of Odette Jeha, who passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
elevated 29MgT Odette was born on November 22, 1953, in Sidon, Lebanon to the late Afif Jeha and Josephine El Khoury. She was the beloved widow of Nayef Cheneis, with whom she built a life centered on family, faith, generosity, and unconditional love.
elevated 29MgT She leaves behind her devoted children: Sharbel Cheneis (Marya Kalloumeh); Zeina Cheneis Buffa (Nick Buffa); Josephine Cheneis Badr (George Badr); Nivine Cheneis Azar (Salim Azar); and Alian Cheneis (Celine Celi).
elevated 29MgT She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Malena, Charbel, Maroun, Tony, Francesco, Eva, Remi, Charbel, Zeina, Sara, and Gabrielle, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
elevated 29MgT Odette is also survived by her cherished siblings: Magui Geha, Eligette Geha Kurkijian, and Julie Geha Badran. She was predeceased by her sister Rosette Zakalit and her brother Maroun Geha.
elevated 29MgT Odette will be remembered for her warmth, strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and hospitality, and her presence and humour brought comfort to all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
