elevated AXc7a It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Olga Isabel De Sousa on July 10, 2026, she was surrounded by the love of her family when she passed. Olga was a devoted wife to her husband Joao and a dedicated mother to her children John (Elizabeth), Ana (Adriano), Paulo(Celia) and Michelle. Olga was also a proud grandma to her grandchildren “pumpkins” Andrew(Olivia), Austin (Shannon) Megan (Santiago) Alex (Tahyla) Joshua , Sebastian , Jasmin (Jose) , Victoria , Jamil , Tyler and Jacob and cherished great grandma to Benjamin, Arlo and Nico.

elevated AXc7a She will be greatly missed by her sister Cidalia Tavares. Both of them were inseparable. They love talking to one another on the iPad.

elevated AXc7a Born on the Isalnd of Sao Miguel Azores, Olga lived a life filled with love and kindness. 

elevated AXc7a She and her husband immigrated to Canada with 3 small children to start their life in a new country to better their family. Then became a family of 4 when they were blessed to have another child born in Canada.

elevated AXc7a She worked very hard all her life. When she wasn’t working she would love to travel and see the world. She always carried her camera and loved to take lots of pictures of all her travels. She loved going on her iPad just scrolling through all those pictures and smiling because of the fond memories.

elevated AXc7a She loved baking traditional recipes and cooking traditional Portuguese meals.

elevated AXc7a She also loved crocheting and dress making. She made all of her oldest daughter’s brides maid dresses and that gave her so much joy. 

elevated AXc7a Her favourite time of year was Christmas when she would have her whole family over for Christmas dinner and she would just enjoy watching everyone eat, and having fun. 

elevated AXc7a Her favourite color was yellow and she loved carnations and roses. 

elevated AXc7a She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of memories, She forever will be in our hearts and prayers. It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you soon. 

elevated AXc7a We all know you will be with us in spirit helping us from up above and that every celebration you will be there. When we look up to the sky and see that rainbow with beautiful colors, I know that’ll be a sign from you. You always love the rainbow colors.

elevated AXc7a We will love you and cherish you forever in our lives.
