I first met Aunty Olinda at our wedding 10 years ago, and thereafter to celebrate her own birthday and our daughters as well.
I will always remember her fondly, a sweet lady, sure lived a full and blessed life. We all have trials and tribulations and aunty had her portion too. We live for God in a world which is not Godly. We too often suffer and in that we give thanks and praise. We are never alone even in our darkest nights, deepest worries our harshest pain.
The word is clear and in the word we trust, we stand on God’s word. As brothers and sisters in Christ we know the promise Jesus gave us, as John recounted.
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”

We met Olinda briefly on some occasions but, I must say she had a strong impact on us. It was her personality and sense of humour that we are reminded of today. I remember praying with her one time as she lead the prayer. She was a woman of great faith. So grateful to have met her.
