It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Olive O’Rourke peacefully on January 17, 2023 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon. Loving mother of Marilyn (Mike), Sharon (Yog), David (Janice), and Peter (Annice). Adored grandmother to Tamara (Salvatore), Brent (Michelle), Stacey (Rob), Kyle (Nicole), Tara (Andrew), Jodi (Charles), Mallory (Chris), Carly and Meghan. Cherished great grandmother “Nana” to 19. Olive was warm, generous and compassionate and a friend to all. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of her extended family and friends. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the Burton Manor care community staff for their kindness and compassion. May she Rest In Peace.
So sorry for this sad news. Heartfelt condolences to you and all your family.

Sorry Marilyn but didn’t see this until noon today. Heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I have such fond memories of your mom and how “motherly” she was when you had sleep-overs when we were kids – always made sure we were all tucked in. I will make a donation to H&S in her memory.
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of our dear Aunt Olive. She was always a loving and caring Aunt and she made me feel like I had just made her day whether it was a call or a visit. She gave the best hugs and her laughter will always remain a part of my memory of her. She will be dearly missed. My last connection to my Mom has gone with her. Be at peace dear Aunt Ollie. My love and condolences to all her family.
