elevated FAPjc It is with great sadness, but with hearts full of love and cherished memories, that we announce the passing of Olive Margarette O’Connell (née Dyke), at the age of 92 on October 25, 2026.
elevated FAPjc Olive lived a long and meaningful life, filled with love, family, and the many things that brought her joy. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a woman who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
elevated FAPjc Olive was married to the love of her life, Conrad O’Connell, for 64 wonderful years. Their marriage was a testament to a lifetime of love and companionship. Though Conrad passed away before her, their bond remained everlasting. Olive has now gone to join her beloved Conrad, reunited once again with the man who shared so much of her life.
elevated FAPjc Together, Olive and Conrad raised their two children, Lana Patrice Young and Sean O’Connell. She was a proud mother-in-law to David Young, who predeceased her, and Edna O’Connell. Her greatest joy was her family, and the love she gave them will forever remain in their hearts.
elevated FAPjc To her beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla (David), Shauna, and Jayden, she was affectionately known as Nanny. This special name represented the warmth, love, and treasured place she held in their lives. She loved her grandchildren dearly, and the memories they shared with their Nanny will be cherished always.
elevated FAPjc Olive had a wonderful appreciation for the things she loved in life. She was passionate about golf, interior design, cooking, and shopping. Whether enjoying a round of golf, creating a beautiful space, preparing something delicious, or enjoying a day of shopping, Olive embraced the interests that made her happy and brought her own special flair to everything she did.
elevated FAPjc Above all, Olive loved her family. They were the heart of her world, and her love for them was a gift that will continue through the generations. Although her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, the memories she created, the love she shared, and the legacy she leaves behind will live on in all those who loved her.
elevated FAPjc At 92 years of age, Olive leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
