elevated oRsuG It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Palma Lavalle on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Rocco Lavalle. Cherished mother of Domenic (Orietta), Angelica McGowan (Damien) and Jacqueline Palermo (Franco). Devoted and caring Nonna to Rocco (Martina), Paolo, Laura (Carlo), Luca, Massimo and Alessio. Dearest sister of Agostino, Santina, Antonio, the late Angela, Anna, Paolo and Onofrio. Palma will be missed by many nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humber River Hospital.
To Domenic, Angelica and Jacqueline and your entire family, we are sending you our most heartfelt condolences on your loss. May the beautiful memories of your mother and beloved grandmother help to ease your pain and bring you comfort during this most difficult time. For every life has a purpose to fill; Palma was a gift from heaven, whose purpose was to make this world understand what love, friendship, goodness, and kindness was all about. As her godson, she holds a special place in my heart. Our Family will miss her dearly and will focus on the wonderful memories of her stories, laughs and smiles. Although she has left to be with God, she will always be watching down and provide her blessings from Heaven. Saying goodbye forever is one of the hardest things in life. It seems that the Angels and Saints could wait not a moment longer for Palma’s incredible foccacia and taralli, so off she goes to offer the delights of her kitchen to those who have waited patiently in Heaven.
