My dear sister,
I have loved you since I heard your first cry on the night of your birth. You were special to all of us. You achieved so much as a person, a professional, a wife, a mother and a grandmother.
We all admired your valiant battle against your disease. You were so strong and hopeful to the very end.
Rest in peace.
Your beautiful smile and friendly nature will be missed at Star Lake.
Sending our condolences to Gord and his family, as well as all the DeButte family. We know she will be greatly missed. Dennis has fond memories of Patsy, when she worked here on the family farm, when she was a teenager. We only saw her a few times since then, but were delighted to meet up with her and Gord, and several of the family, the day before her daughter’s wedding in St. Catherine’s, a few years ago. We were excited, when Max made the arrangements to meet, and for us to have supper together. Keeping your family, in our thoughts and prayers.
Dennis and Anne Marie Claes
Such a kind beautiful soul will be greatly missed.
Thank you for your love, generosity & always welcoming us.
Love to your beautiful family that treasured you.
I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. She was definitely instrumental in growing Women’s Hockey in the Mississauga community. She was always very patient and kind. She made sure there somewhere for everyone to play, and for that I will always be grateful. Her absence is felt by her community. Deepest condolences to her family.
My condolences to her entire family. She organized the best women’s hky league and she is missed by us all. Rest in peace Pat.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends and teammates. We appreciate all of her efforts that she put into WHAMO. Her dedication, passion and organization for women’s hockey has helped the game grow for women.
We, among so many cottagers of Star Lake, will miss your generosity and friendly nature, Pat. Thank-you for all that you have done for our Association. Our sincere condolences are extended to Gord and so many family members. May peace be with you now, Pat.
Pat created this beautiful atmosphere and space for women’s hockey. Because of WHAMO it created a group of women who went from playing competitively growing up to reconnect in a women’s league years later after kids along with adding more to our permanent roster. Thank you for your commitment to the league, the game and of course the purpose behind it all – each other. We continue to play together and tribute to your love for it.
So sorry to hear the news. 🙏
Dear Gordie and family! We are so sorry to learn of the passing of your beautiful mom.
May you and your family continue to cherish the beautiful memories of her and may she Rest In Peace!
🩷🌸🙏
My sincere condolences to the family. May she rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Pat years ago & she left a big impression. May her memory be a blessing.
A donation has been made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in memory of Pat, on behalf of the Crease Lightning hockey team. Thank you Pat, you gave us a safe and fun league to learn the game. Many of us would not have learned the game, or continued playing without your inclusive hockey league WHAMO. We are forever grateful, and you will be remembered.
My deepest sympathies to Gord and the Family.
Pat was my Boss at BofA. And she was such a beautiful soul. She was always so cheerful, kind and so loving. She spread so much of love to all she met.
May her soul rest in peace.
The world will miss you Pat
I am so incredibly sad to hear of Pat’s passing. I first met Pat when we worked together at BofA in the 90s. My most precious memories were when we reconnected in 2012 through the payments industry.. and Pat joining me to watch my daughters play hockey. Rest in peace Pat and condolences to the Deane family 💔
As we say our final goodbye today such a loss for all of your family, friends and hockey community. You will be forever loved and remembered. You certainly made a mark in this world. Love you always my beautiful Aunt Patsy.

My heartfelt condolences to Pat’s family, friends and hockey community. May she rest peacefully.
I am very sad to hear the news. I worked for Pat for 6 years at Scotia and she was such a great caring and capable person. I have good thoughts for the family during this time and was blessed to have known her. Harpreet
