elevated Sk16q On Saturday, March 21st, 2026, Patrick Joseph Farrell, loving husband, father, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 82.
elevated Sk16q Pat was born on June 25th, 1943, in Dublin, Ireland, to Patrick (“Patsy”) Farrell and Maureen Maguire. The eldest of ten children, he carried the quiet responsibility of that role throughout his life as a steady presence, a trailblazer, and a man others could count on.
elevated Sk16q Pat married the love of his life, Anne (née Clarke), and together they began their family in Ireland with daughters Marie and Maureen before emigrating to Canada in search of opportunity and a better life. There, they welcomed two sons, Keith and Patrick, while Pat built his business, Pride Plumbing. His company motto, “Do it with Pride,” was more than a slogan; it was a saying he lived by. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and, with that same generosity, helped several of his siblings find their footing in Canada. It was a life and a legacy he wasn’t just building for himself, but for others.
elevated Sk16q At his home in Caledon, Pat found joy in the simple things. He was a gardener and landscaper, taking great pride in the place that became the heart of countless family gatherings, celebrations, and memories. He had a particular love for birds, and often spent countless hours in his bird room tending to his finches and canaries.
elevated Sk16q When not at work or at home, Pat could be found at the Irish Center with a pint in his hand and his unmistakable laugh filling the room. He was clever, resourceful, and unapologetically Irish, but always guided by a generous heart and an unwavering love for his family.
elevated Sk16q Pat and Anne shared 54 years of marriage. He affectionately called her his “Annie Oakley,” and after her passing in 2018, he carried her absence with him every day. After 8 long years, the arrival of great-grandchildren, and many mornings spent over breakfast at Wimpy’s Diner, Pat is now finally at rest with his beloved Anne.
elevated Sk16q He was predeceased by his sisters Margaret and Phyllis, and his brothers Martin, Kenneth, and Noel.
elevated Sk16q He is lovingly remembered by his children: Marie Carothers (Ryan), Maureen Farrell (Louie), Keith Farrell (Denice), and Patrick Farrell (Tammy), his grandchildren, Shannon (Giulia), Mario, Korey, Connor, Amy, Finn, and Kian, his great grandchildren, Owen and Harley, as well as his surviving siblings, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
