Please join us in celebrating the life of Patrick. We lost him suddenly and too soon but take comfort in knowing he is at peace with Maureen and Patrick. Patrick was a loved father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and brother in law. He will be missed by his many friends, extended family and his beloved cat Mister.
In lieu of flowers a donation to CAMH (www.camh.ca) or act of kindness for a stranger, that Patrick so often demonstrated, is welcome.
We love you Pat.
Pat was one of natures gentleman. One of the nicest guys in my old neighbourhood without a doubt.Strength to the Greene sisters and extended family this difficult time.
My deepest condolences on the profound loss of your beloved Patrick, Brother, Father, Cousin, Brother in law! He was such a kind and gentle soul! May Patrick’s memory be a blessing to all who knew him! RIP my Friend! I will miss you dearly!
Our heartfelt condolences to all the families. We did not meet Patrick that often and thus did not know him very well. However he struck me as a gentle soul who would rather hurt himself before he hurt others.
Rest in peace, Patrick.
With love to all from Lillian and Wolf.
May God watch over your family as you navigate through this difficult time. May Patrick rest in peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love Darlene and Dave and family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him fondly.

I’m a fellow traveler of Patrick’s since 1985. We were close friends ever since. Chelsea and Micheal, I’m greatful to have gotten to know you, both. We’ve only met a few times but there isn’t anything Patrick talked about more over the decades than his concern for his kids. He loved you both so much.
Patrick knew addiction and mental health and was a champion in helping others battle the stigma and clutches of both. No matter what he was going though he would listen-to me or anyone-never rushing or drifting off. In the end, when appropriate, he would have us laughing, no matter what our circumstances. Patrick understood that most often, people don’t need to be told; we need to feel like we’re being heard. I for one have been lucky for the time and talking I’ve shared with our Patrick.
We all have our work cut out for us to fill the gap left in the service of others that our Patrick so stoically and generously filled.
Dear Patrick, you were always smiling, willing to chat and share a moment of your day. It was a pleasure and honor to have met you and my sincerest condolences to your family and loved ones. You will be missed and never forgotten. RIP dear Patrick.
Our condolences to Penny, Aileen, Carmel and the rest of the family . Pat was a real swell guy who never uttered a bad word about anyone in his life I suspect and always had a smile on his face. The world will not be the same without ” tea and crumpets” in it .
Oh my God say it ain’t sooooo !!! So many memories of such a great guy growing up in “the hood “ love ya buddy RIP deepest condolences to all the Greene Sisters and families
Patrick and I were kindred souls that walked a similar path and fought the same demons of addiiction and mental health. We had many talks about the need to help others in order to help ourselves. The paradox of the 12 step programs is you have to give it away in order to keep it. Patrick knew this as well as any of us, and we often shared about how best to help someone.
His selfless nature and his wry sense of humour gave him an edge in talking with others. He was humble to a fault and would fret if a guy he was working with would be struggling to “get it”. In many ways it was he cared so deeply and knew all too well the pain of relapse.
I had lost contact with him in the last 18 months or so but periodically would see his Facebook posts and knew he was still with us and still “on the path”.
He has been called to another place and I know this world is diminished by his absence. Godspeed Patrick until we meet again.
Dear Carmel and family,
We are so sorry to hear the sad news of the sudden death of your brother Patrick.
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and condolences.
Love Marion, Hilary and family
