elevated WhkND Patrick Jude Kivlahan, July 25, 1933 – January 26, 2022, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Pat was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (2016). He is survived by his cherished children, Joan (Bruce), Frances (Desmond), Mary-Anne (Dave), Clare (Bob), Michael, Patrick (Della) and Dennis (Paula). He adored all his grandchildren – Jennifer (Kevin), Allison (Craig), Kevin (Erin), Alexandra, Andrew, Megan, Justin (Lynette), Christopher, James, Patrick, Matthew, Kiera and Kait, and his great grandchildren, Kathleen, Hendrix and Bridget. He was predeceased by his treasured son, Paul, his beautiful granddaughter, Kathleen, and his siblings, Frank, Kathleen and John. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Canada, United States and Ireland. Most summer days, Dad could be found out on his deck, listening to his much-loved Blue Jays, reading his many newspapers and enjoying visits with his loving family. Sleep well, Belfast lad…you are back with your lovely Banteer lassie.

It is with the deepest sadness that we learned about the death of Patrick (Pat) Kivlahan earlier this week.
Our hearts are filled with sadness for your loss and no kind words can replace the sorrow you are all feeling. “Uncle’ Pat was a true gentleman; kind and caring, with a warm smile and the gentle, easy going demeanour of a man who loved and was loved dearly by his family.
Even though there is a vast ocean between our families, please know that you are all in our hearts and prayers.
