elevated QjuxO Obituary

elevated QjuxO It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patrizio on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in Richmond Hill, Ontario at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Mirella.  Loving father of Maurizio and his wife Carla, Alexander and his wife Phyllis, and Loretta.  Adored grandfather of Dario, Dante, Cassandra and Patrick.  Dear brother of Vittorio and his wife Maria, Maria, Giuseppina and her late husband Aldo and the late brother Alessandro.  Patrizio will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends both in Italy and in Canada.

elevated QjuxO Patrizio was born on April 29, 1937, to Teresa Saleri and Giovanni Battista Pardetti in Brescia, Italy. Patrizio was an inquisitive child and liked to joke around which would at times get him into trouble. It was at a young age that Patrizio’s father passed away and the family pulled together to support his mother. Patrizio adored his mother and they always had a close bond.

elevated QjuxO As a young man Patrizio was an amazing athlete, who did everything from being a skiing instructor, played tennis to a long distance competitive runner. He was well known in Italy and his hometown of Gardone Val Trompia in Brescia and received many trophies and awards for his success. He also had a creative side and enjoyed painting beautiful portraits in his leisure time. Patrizio was talented in so many ways.

elevated QjuxO He moved to Canada in 1965 at the age of 28 with his good friend Fausto. He soon met his wife Mirella in September that year through a mutual friend and after 8 months of courtship, they decided to get married. They had recently celebrated 54 loving years on May 21, 2020.

elevated QjuxO During this time Patrizio worked while studying to be a Mechanical Engineer and Technician, completing programs at both the Canadian Institute of Technology University and later at the University of Toronto. He also received his designation with OACETT and continued his membership until his passing. His love for learning never ended. He would regularly read encyclopedia’s and challenged his math and physics problem solving skills and drafting formulas. It kept his mind active.

elevated QjuxO Patrizio loved his children Maurizio, Alexander and Loretta very much and he always taught them to enjoy his same passion for the great outdoors and sports activities. Patrizio loved hunting, fishing and taking his family camping. He also enjoyed planting his vegetable garden and taught Loretta who will continue this tradition for him.

elevated QjuxO His love for his grandchildren, Cassandra, Patrick, Dario and Dante would never go unnoticed. He always did anything for the love of his family and was a proud Nonno.

elevated QjuxO He was a gentleman and kind towards so many people and was true to his faith.

elevated QjuxO Patrizio will truly be missed as a husband, a father, a grandfather (Nonno), uncle (Zio), brother-in-law and a friend.

elevated QjuxO The Pardetti family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this time of sorrow.
