elevated VPkqz Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Paul J. Guinane on February 17, 2025, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 87. Predeceased by parents Jim and Rita, siblings Peter, Mary Hellen, Jim and John. Survived by Sisters In Law Mary Anne, Carol, and Nina. Loving Uncle of Bill (Linda), Peter (Alana Eckler), Dave (Jackie), Patrick (Allyson Phillips), Sean (Amber Neal), Shelagh (John Cramp). Paul will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. A special thank you to the staff at the Eldon of Bradford who cared for Paul for the past 5 years, and at Southlake Regional Health Centre that eased his final days.

elevated VPkqz In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Paul can be made to Covenant House or the Humane Society.
We are so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. My family and I have been close friends of Paul’s for over 45 years. Although we were not able to visit face to face with Paul since his move to the retirement center we were able to stay in touch by phone. Unfortunately we found out about the funeral service 1 day late otherwise we would have attended.
Paul always had a curious mind and investigated everything from the spiritual to the material. He was always asking questions and it was that questioning and his prodding to get me to question that helped me a lot during difficult times.
He also had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke or two.
We will miss Paul but are happy that his final years were in relative comfort that allowed him to be close to his family.
Our condolences to his family.
