elevated 9AflS Pauline passed peacefully, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Markham Stouffvile Hospital, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of William C. Beattie, in their 70th year of marriage. Loving mother of Karen Gowland and her late husband Steven and Linda Wilkins and her husband Stephen. Adored grandmother of Mark Gowland, Scott Gowland(Rosie), Paul Gowland(Jennifer), Nichole Duguay(Neal), Kristin McBeth(Paul) and David Wilkins(Chelsea). Dear great grandmother of five boys and six girls. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. “Forever In Our Hearts”.
So sorry to learn of Pauline’s death. She was such a gentle lovely lady. She will be missed

It was with sadness that I noticed in today’s Toronto Star that your mother passed away this past Tuesday. While there isn’t much comforting one can say when a parent passes, my hope is that your happy memories of your mother will help you in the difficult days ahead. I lost my mother three years ago this past June and I know what this grief feels like. My condolences to your whole family.
I often think of you, Karen, when I think back on my childhood years at Overland Drive Public School and my teenage years at Don Mills Collegiate. I have some fond memories of our friendship.

I was so shocked today to hear this terrible news. Pauline was such a beautiful person. Her family meant everything to her, she found such joy and happiness in each and everyone of them. She will be missed so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please take care
