elevated 9XQQj Obituary

elevated 9XQQj Pauline was born in Scotch Village, Nova Scotia on May 23, 1924 to parents   Russell and Jean (Lake) Smith. Being the eldest daughter in a big family, her early years were spent helping her mother with the children and the chores. As a young woman, she moved to Toronto where she met Cliff at a dance at the Palais Royale. They married in 1955 and spent most of their lives together in a part of Toronto called Swansea, where they raised two daughters, and where Pauline was known for several years as the warm and friendly school crossing guard.   It is there that she passed away in her home, on June 20, 2021, with her daughters and son-in-law by her side. Throughout her 97 years, Pauline’s loves remained the same: she loved dancing and singing, she loved to laugh, and she loved her husband, daughters, and grandsons with all her heart.

elevated 9XQQj Pauline is survived by children Donna (Wally) Towarnicki and Shelley (Dave) Aucoin; and grandchildren Nicholas, Ryan, Mark, Mitchell, and Jeremy; sisters Doris (Bob) Yateman and Linda (Frank) Walters;  brother Ralph; sister-in law Gloria Collins, and many dear nieces and nephews.

Pauline will best be remembered for her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, and her soft and gentle heart. We know she is in heaven with Cliff, the love of her life, where she will laugh, and sing and dance again.
