It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Paulman at the age of 83 in Mississauga, Ontario. Beloved husband of Salina for 59 wonderful years; loving father to son Derrick (Anita, proud Yeah Yeah to Chloe and Kyle) and daughter Karen. Paul passed away peacefully on August 19, surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Macau on September 16, 1939, he was the first in his family to graduate from university at McGill with a degree in engineering and a MBA at York…an adventurer at heart, leaving Hong Kong to settle here in Canada, to later in life, travelling all over the world to places as far away as New Zealand and Dubai…but above all, a family man. His favourite activity was taking his family on vacations and most recently, sharing his love of Disneyworld with his granddaughter. We know he will be with us in spirit when his grandson visits Disney for the first time, watching over us as we ride the monorail and Paul’s favourite ride, it’s a Small World.
elevated d20IJ A special thanks to the staff at Amica, the palliative care team at Credit Valley Hospital and our home care teams who worked together to keep him home. We invite our friends and family to join us for a Chinese banquet in his memory at his favorite restaurant Pearl in Oakville after the mass.
elevated d20IJ He will be missed and forever remembered by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Credit Valley Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
My heart goes out to you, Mrs Lau and your family at this difficult time. Mr.Lau had achieved a lot in all his life. Most admired by his hard working ethics when we first met in the Chinese Heritage School. He will be missed dearly . Wishing you peace ,comfort and love at this time of sorrow.
Please accept our deepest condolences .
