It is with sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear father, Peter Basciano, in Toronto, surrounded by the love of his family.
elevated q1Jh3 Peter was born in Rocca San Giovanni, Chieti, Italy to the late Giovanni and Maria Basciano. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Giovanna Basciano (nee Memme).
elevated q1Jh3 He was a loving father to Gianni (Patrizia). Adored Nonno to Michael, Milena, Nicholas and Veronica.
elevated q1Jh3 Peter is predeceased by his siblings Dominica, Lina and Nick.
elevated q1Jh3 He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
elevated q1Jh3 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children.

Dear Gianni, Patrizia, Michael, Milena, Nicholas and Veronica.
I am deeply saddened by Nonno Peter’s passing.
Loosing a parent is never easy, I know that, but I hope you find comfort in the love you gave and the memories you hold.
I know how much love and attention you were giving to Nonno Peter and how happy he was to have you, I will never forget his humor and laugh. He was really a good person.
During this sorrowful time know that I am holding you in my thoughts and prayers.
May the Lord give you peace and healing to your heart knowing that Nonno Peter is resting in the Glory of God’s embrace.
