elevated LUGLu It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Peter Forde on Saturday September 4th, 2021 surrounded by family. He will be deeply missed.
elevated LUGLu We will always remember Peter as a loving husband of Jo-Anne, a wonderful father of Stephen (Sarah), Samantha (Mike), Natalie (Jayrooll), and Vince, and a caring grandfather to Selena, Spencer, Arabella, and Jhaylie. Peter is predeceased by his loving Mother, Dorothy Forde, and recently his Father, Fred Forde. Peter was a kind and generous brother, uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. Peter enjoyed watching his favourite hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens.
elevated LUGLu Peter was born in Montreal and moved with his family to Toronto where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University and his Chartered Professional Accountant designation. His career of over 40 years included his time at KPMG, Bramalea, and Nexacor and since 1998, Peter has been an integral part of the leadership team of SmartCentres with his most recent role being that of President and CEO. Peter touched the lives of many by sharing his gifts of knowledge and expertise generously. He personally guided, mentored and has been a role model to so many peers, associates, and friends. Peter exuded a calm and warm strength in his leadership to all those that were lucky to work with him. He was admired and respected by all.
