elevated MGoTw March 25, 1931- March 29, 2021
elevated MGoTw Peacefully passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Tosca with whom he is now reunited. Loving father of Vicki (Greg), Denise (Angelo) and Christopher (Susan). Devoted and adored Nonno of Justin, Aaron, Evan, Robyn, Rachel, and Taylor. Fortunately he was able to spend precious time with his three great-grandchildren, Pippa, Theo and Abigail. Everyone that knew him had their favourite “ Pete” story, usually irreverent but always filled with humor and humility. Peter you are always in our hearts and you will be sadly missed by many many friends and family alike, none of whom will dispute; You did it your way! A special thank you to our family angel Angela Canlas for your endless support and dedication to the care of our family. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic the family will be having a private funeral service on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 12:00p.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario). Family and friends are invited to offer online condolences and to watch the service from the comfort of your home through a livestream link being provided at www.catholic-cemeteries.com. A memorial service and reception will take place at a later date. May he rest in peace.

Dear Denise, Angelo, Evan & Nora and Robyn,
Thinking of you all and your entire family at this sad time of loss. Losing a parent and Nonno is never easy anytime… but this pandemic makes it so difficult to offer support and comfort to those we love. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending much love and a virtual hug,
Louisa, Julia, Daniel and Laura

We want to express our sympathy and let you know that our thoughts are with you. Your Dad always smiled and loved being around people. Keep all the good memories with you and time will heal your sad hearts.
Dear Vicki, Denise and Chris
I was so sad to hear of Pete’s passing. I got to know your Mom and Dad pretty well through Dayana and always enjoyed seeing them. Very special people.
My sincere condolences to your family.
I was blessed to have known you, Peter. Thank you for your kindness and for the joy and love you brought to your family. Give Tosca my best.
It was with great sadness for Bobbi and I to get this news. I have such great memories of Pete including his challenge to me to jump from the cabana roof into the pool. I declined so he did it twice. I also had to stop playing squash with him because he kept braking my rackets he was so competitive . I know that his passing will leave a great hole in the family hearts and both he and Tosca will always be remembered with love, warmth and respect
Our sincerest condolences. We were deeply saddened to hear of Peter’s passing. We will remember and cherish all the times spent at family functions and get togethers. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. We can take comfort that he is among loved ones who passed before him in heaven. We send you all hugs, kisses, and our love and support during this difficult time.

My mother Adriana and I are saddened to hear of your dear father’s passing.
Please accept our sincerest condolences and may fond memories keep him alive in your hearts forever.
We remember both your parents from the many (CRSQ) Club Ricreativo San Quirinese events over the years.
May they both rest in peace together again.
It was my privilege to know Peter and Tosca over many years. I can remember times we 3 shared laughter when they came for a medical visit. It was always a pleasure to see them both.
Peter had to endure some difficult times with his complicated medical problems – but he virtually always had a smile.
