elevated ITctb It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pierina Zanconato on April 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
elevated ITctb Pierina will be remembered for her strength, vivacity, generosity, and her love for her daughters and sons in law, and her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
elevated ITctb Loving mother to Joanne (Robert), Mary Grace (Mauro), and proud nonna to Téa (Matthew), Eliana, Julian, and Jonathan.
elevated ITctb She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Mirello Zanconato.
elevated ITctb In lieu of flowers, donations in Pierina’s memory may be made to Hospice Vaughan, whose kindness and care makes a difference to our community.

Dear Mary Grace and Joanne,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. We met briefly at Mackenzie Health Palliative Care when I delivered the espresso and had a short conversation in the hallway.
I especially wanted to thank you, Joanne, for your kindness and for comforting me during a very difficult moment—it meant more than I can express. I had hoped to see you both again the following day, and was very sorry to learn of your mom’s passing.
I also happened to come across your story on Instagram about your mother, and it truly felt like a sign to reach out—such a meaningful coincidence.
It was a pleasure meeting you and sharing that brief moment together. I’m wishing you both strength and all the very best in the days ahead
