Pierino De Franco, age 78, quietly passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 15, 2025.
Pierino was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on earth was one marked by love, kindness and devotion. He will be cherished forever by his wife of 52 years, Ida, his children Emanuela and Luca, and his grandson Leo. He is reunited with his parents Michele and Maria, brothers Giuseppe, Mario, Franco, Pasquale, and sisters Aquila, Carmela and Angela.
elevated J5l8j He will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-laws Italia and Dora and his brother-in-law Stano, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
elevated J5l8j From humble beginnings in Marano Marchesato, Calabria, Pierino’s legacy is one of integrity, strength and hard work. His family invites all who knew him to pay their respects on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. In Pierino’s memory, donations can be made to Brain Cancer Canada.
