elevated NTtp0 Merlina, Pietro – Passed away 2 months before his 100th birthday on October 27, 2020 at Etobicoke General Hospital. He is survived by son Benedetto, daughter-in-law Pat Merlina, and son-in-law Joseph Daiello. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 48 years, Giuseppina (nee Macaluso) and daughter Angela Daiello. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Nick and Seren Daiello, Antonella (Owen) Agard, Joseph (Stephanie) Daiello, Josephine Merlina, and Christine (Eric) Lord; great-grandchildren Michael and Matthew Daiello, Mykala and Clair Daiello, Christian and Daniel Agard, Penelope, Marcus, and Finley Lord.
elevated NTtp0 In light of the current COVID 19 Pandemic, the family will be having a private funeral Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Friday October 30, 2020 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in memory of Pietro to Heart and Stroke Association would be appreciated by the family. Pietro’s family would like to thank Villa DaVinci Retirement Residence for their care and friendship shown to Pietro over the last ten years.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Zio Pietro as I referred to him. To almost make it to 100 is incredible.
