elevated xXrvY Beloved husband of Nilde (nee Guadagnolo). Loving father of Norina, Pasquale “Pat” and his wife Pina and Franco. Cherished Nonno of Joseph Carpino, Brianne and Matthew Turco. Dear brother of Franca and her husband Carmine, Lina and her husband Giovanni, Maria, Rosetta and her late husband Antonio, and the late Angelo. Pietro will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and his many friends.
elevated xXrvY Friends may visit on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (Langstaff and Bayview). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the Chapel of St. Joseph of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will be held in Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. Reception to follow.

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we express our most deepest, heartfelt condolences for the passing of our sweet Zio Pietro. Our hearts are heavy knowing that he is no longer with us.
There are no words to express how truly sorry we are for your loss. He was the sweetest, loving Zio I ever had. Growing up as a child, I can remember visiting and he always had that infections laugh and smile and was so loving and always ready to scoop me up in his arms. He was so generous and always made sure we didn’t leave without having a meal for us, especially his Soppressata, He was the master of his craft. He had a huge heart, so giving, and was so compassionate, and always made you feel welcome. His dedication and ability to bring everyone together was so remarkable. He was a kind, sweet, loving and genuine person, who always looked out for others, and loved his family dearly.
As time went on, and we would encounter each other, he remained the same, and always greeted me with loving arms. I will miss him deeply and will cherish the memories and good times we had together.
I thank God and feel honoured and blessed to have known such a wonderful man. I know that there is an angel in heaven watching over all of us. He is now reunited with my father and brother and that comforts me.
We express our most deepest and heartfelt condolences to his entire family, may God give you the strength to carry-on. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, he is and will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace sweet Zio.

He was so kind and always so appreciative. He would always give us a gift of his special homemade wine. When I received the call about his passing I felt like I had lost apart of my family. I lost my Father in April suddenly, and I know that pain you feel in your heart. Please remember he will forever be in our hearts. We were so blessed to have had him as a friend. Wish we could have been there for the service. We need the family to know you are all in our thoughts and prayers

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Although our time together was very little, it has been a great honor to have known such a treasure.
