elevated 8xnWA It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raffaela (Rae) McBeth. She passed away with her family by her side at Southlake Regional Health Centre on December 22, 2025.
elevated 8xnWA Rae was a loving and cherished wife to husband David with whom she spent 53 years.
elevated 8xnWA A loving and devoted mother to John (Maria) and Christina. Loved and cherished Nonna to her adored grandchildren Victoria, David, Joseph, Matthew and Luca. Rae is predeceased by her parents Paolo and Incoronata DelFuoco and her in-laws Jack and Mae McBeth. Cherished sister to Michele (Maria), the late Antonio (the late Incoronada), Florence (Philip), Connie, and sister in law Cheryl (the late Verne) and Bonnie (Dan).
elevated 8xnWA Rae will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Never to miss an anniversary, birthday or special occasion with a phone call or visit, Rae’s unwavering kindness, smile and warmth will be her legacy that lives on in each of those who had the honour of knowing her.
elevated 8xnWA The family would like to thank the staff of Southlake Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion and would like to thank family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time.

Dave; I saw your email last night but put off opening it ‘til this morning expecting to read your annual Christmas greeting to our fellow Scotiabankers … instead this. Your loss is never wanted nor good, but it’s especially so at this time of year. Just know that your family and friends will somehow help you through the sorrow. Although we all say it, none of us can fully know your anguish, but we can provide moral comfort. You’ve always been a guiding light to so many at the office, and I dare say your family and community; so, I know you’ll get through this as positively as possible.

Dear Dave and family, I am deeply saddened to learn of Rae’s passing. Rae was special. She brought so much light into every room she entered. Her infectious smile, her unwavering work ethic, and the genuine respect she showed to everyone around her made her truly one of a kind. She had a remarkable gift for seeing the good in others, even in difficult moments, and she never allowed tough times to dim her kind and generous spirit.
Working alongside her was a privilege, and I’ll always be grateful for the positivity and grace she shared so freely. She made our workplace better simply by being herself.
