Rahil Al-Akkary passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 29, 1933, in Kaftoon, Lebanon to Yacoub and Mariana. At a younger age, she attended to the family’s land and then she pursued education and got a degree in Commerce. She loved children and taught for several years before marrying her husband, Michel in 1957. Together, they travelled to Kuwait then back to Lebanon where they raised their three children, David, Jean and Mirna. She enjoyed playing volleyball, carpet bowling, cards and loved winning.
Rahil was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michel Boudoumit (1983).
Loving mother of the late David Boudoumit and his wife Reine, Jean Boudoumit and his wife Ilham, and Mirna Boudoumit.
Grandmother to Miriam, Michael, David, Timothy, Emmanuel and Nathaniel.
She will be remembered for her pleasant jokes, and strong motherly care.
Family was everything to her. Rahil will be greatly missed by the Boudoumit, Al-Akkary, Sebali, Ghubril, Maalouf, Semaan, Yasbek, Ferris, Khoury, Yared, Mehwi, Aouad, Razouk, Kaai, Raii, Araman, Milan, Sakr, and Hayek families.
