elevated ol67i Peacefully on October 13, 2026, at the Venvi Leaside Retirement Home at the age of 95. Predeceased by his dearly beloved wife Nadia, with whom he spent 41 wonderful years as well as his parents, Alice and Ibrahim. Cherished father of Naguib (Jennifer Lithgow) and Nadine (John Ward). Adoring grandfather of Joseph and Nicholas (Keith) Ward and Beth Gouda. Loving brother of his late sister Odette and brothers, Fouad and Samir. He will be affectionately remembered by all his nieces, nephews and cousins and many other dear relatives and remarkable friends. Words cannot adequately express his family’s gratitude to the entire Venvi team, including those nurses, PSWs and all support workers led by Charlene Parish. This sentiment extends to those who supported him for years prior to his arrival to the Venvi especially  Nino, Anna, Ola, Lilma as well as Nadine and Kedest. His journey would have been impossible to navigate without the compassion of Andriy and Amy with Ontario Health at Home. Very special thanks to Dr. Mateen Akhtar for his care over the past few months and to Susan, who was with him on Tuesday, ensuring he had a wonderful day and leaving him in excellent spirits.
