With heavy hearts we share the life of Ranko Vukojevic, a devoted husband, father, and cherished grandfather. Born on April 26, 1949, in Vasarovici, Bosnia and Hercegovina, he later came to Canada in search of a better life, where through hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice, he built a life centered on family, faith, and community.

Ranko was the beloved husband of Ruza Vukojevic. Together they shared 54 years of marriage, a partnership rooted in love, loyalty, and unwavering support. He was a proud and loving father to four children: daughter Visnja (Milan), son Pero (Miroslava), son Nikola (Brianna), and daughter Adrijana (Daniel).

He was a cherished grandfather to Niko, Kaja, Andreo, Mateo, and Dario, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

Ranko is also survived by his sister, Senka, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Croatia.

Ranko was a hard-working, selfless man who devoted himself fully to his family, his church, and the Croatian community. He believed deeply in the value of giving back and living with integrity. Known for his sharp wit and unforgettable one-liners, he brought laughter and warmth wherever he went.

He lived by the Golden Rule — do unto others as you would have them do unto you — a principle he embodied every day through his actions. To his family, Ranko was their rock and anchor, a steady presence they could always rely on.

He will be truly and deeply missed, but his legacy of love, faith, hard work, and kindness will live on through all who were blessed to know him.
