elevated KEFVn It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Fredrick Geniole, a much loved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His warmth, generosity, and love for his family will be deeply missed.

elevated KEFVn Raymond was the beloved son of Ramona Ricci and the late Raymond Geniole. Above all else, Raymond was most proud of his children. He was a devoted father to his son, Joshua (Victoria), and his daughter, Rebecca (Matthew). He absolutely adored his granddaughters, Ava and Lila, who brought tremendous joy to his life. Raymond will be deeply missed by his sister, Roseanne, and his brother, Rick Ricci (Jennifer). He was also a much-loved uncle to Angela (Anthony), Alexandra (Taylor), Justin and Blake, and a cherished great-uncle to Alexander, Annabelle and Rowan.

elevated KEFVn Family was at the centre of Raymond’s life. He spoke with his mother every day, and family lunches were something he rarely missed.  If someone needed him, Raymond was there. He simply didn’t know how to say no. You only had to ask, and he would do whatever he could to help. He had a genuine heart for helping others and was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed him.

elevated KEFVn He also had a mischievous side. Raymond was a prankster who loved to joke, tease and make people laugh. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humour, his generous heart and, most of all, the importance he placed on being together with family.

elevated KEFVn Raymond had a passion for many things throughout his life. He loved cars and spent many years restoring classic vehicles, taking pride in the time, patience, and care that went into bringing them back to life. He was a natural athlete, he loved both playing and watching sports, with a particular love for hockey. He took pride in sharing his love of sports with his kids throughout the years, coaching their sports teams, and creating ice skating rinks in the backyard every winter.
