elevated Gl72U Obituary:

elevated Gl72U DEL CARMEN, Rebecca (nee Reynoso) – Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 27, 2021 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 53 years to Rodolfo.  Together they moved to Canada from the Philippines in 1969 to embark on an adventure together in this new land of love and opportunity.  They were inseparable and enjoyed their time tending their garden, travelling and visiting casinos.  She was devoted to her Catholic faith and a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Prayer Group. 

elevated Gl72U Proud and devoted mother to Josef Roel, Ronald (Michelle) and Rocelyn (Patrick) whom she nurtured and encouraged, deciding in 1974 to forego a promising career at IBM. Loving Lola to Ethan, Alysia, Julianna and Jasmine whom she celebrated and cheered for at every opportunity.

elevated Gl72U Supportive eldest sister to Raquel (Rolando), Reuben (Blesilda), Rene (Victoria), Raul (Ofelia), and Ric.  She is preceded in death by her sister Ruth.  All of whom she helped to obtain a foothold upon their arrivals to Canada.

elevated Gl72U Her faith, optimism and strong will enabled her to surpass all expectations and live her last five years relatively well with metastatic cancer.  Her selflessness was evident throughout her life and in her last moments as she ensured her loved ones would continue to be cared for. 

elevated Gl72U Rebecca will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family members and friends.

elevated Gl72U Visitation will be on Thursday September 2, 2021 at 211 Langstaff Road East, (west of Bayview Ave), Thornhill,  from 2 till 4 pm and 5 till 8 pm. Due to Covid 19 and the limitation of numbers, the Funeral Mass is by invitation only. The Mass is available to be watch via livestream on Friday at 10 am.
