elevated HELCv Obituary
elevated HELCv It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Regina Lazdowski. Regina passed away at Baycrest Hospital on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family.
elevated HELCv Regina was predeceased by her beloved husband Jan (March, 1995). Regina was an adoring mother to Richard (Joan) and Sophie Martin (Stephen). A proud Nana to Richard John (Sandra), Jason (Tara), Christopher, and Sondra (Stefan Pietrangelo). Regina was also a treasured great grandmother to Lindsey, Emma, Kyle, Paige and of the newest “little one” Olivia Rose.
elevated HELCv Regina will also be greatly missed by her relatives and friends in Poland.
elevated HELCv Memorial donations may be made to the palliative care units at both Baycrest Hospital and North York General Hospital.
elevated HELCv A special thank you to the doctors and staff at both palliative care units for all their care and support.
Regina knew me since I was born and was best friends with Mom, Nicole Pidek. I took them to church and happily searched for treasures with them at garage sales. She always was and is a great and loyal friend. A strong soul and tough to her core, yet always gentle with me and happy for any reason to smile. Never afraid of hard work and not shy about asking me to do some work for her, she always tried to keep me company and made it feel more like a visit. Like Mom, she was ready to go. And like Mom, she leaves a hole in my life, as her love and simple joy of living made my life richer. God bless you dear Regina and thank you. And have fun with Mom.
Dear Sophie,
We wish to express our sincere condolences to you and Stephen and the family on the passing of your Mother. Thinking of you in sympathy.
