elevated Q0dkA
René Linteau passed away on November 26th, 2023, at the age of 71. His battle with serious medical issues in recent months showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, René always had a joke to share and never lost his sense of self.

elevated Q0dkA René was a gifted man with many talents. Whatever new interests he took on, René worked hard to master them. He was a self-taught artist and musician, a great cook, and had a green thumb (to name a few!).

elevated Q0dkA His family often referred to him as “MacGyver”, a reference to the 80’s TV show, symbolizing his resourcefulness to solve problems using any materials at hand.

elevated Q0dkA René was born in Quebec City and grew up in Toronto with his loving parents and 10 siblings.

elevated Q0dkA René met his wife, Mary Jo, in the hallways of their high school and married shortly after. The couple were together for 50 years before his untimely passing. Together, they had two children: Timothy and Ashlee and 3 grandchildren: Henry, Aura, and James.

elevated Q0dkA René will be honoured in a visitation, hours are from 12:30pm – 2:30pm on Saturday December the 9th, followed by a reception from 2:20pm-4:30pm.
