elevated ZvQ89 Obituary

elevated ZvQ89 Reynaldo “Rey” Domondon was born and raised in Baguio City, Philippines to Justice Sixto Domondon and Tomasa Diaz. He along with his siblings attended Maryknoll Convent School and followed by Ateneo de Manila for high school. He made his way to Canada in 1974 where he graduated from York University with a degree in Information Technology.

elevated ZvQ89 While Rey may have seemed like a quiet and private individual, his love for sports was no secret. He loved baseball, particularly when he watched the Blue Jays win the ’92 & ’93 World Series, as well as basketball, where he cheered on the Toronto Raptors. But it was his love for golf that everyone knew surpassed it all. Off the sports field, he enjoyed Kung-Fu, Sci-Fi and Fantasy films and shows.

elevated ZvQ89 For many years, Rey worked as an IT Specialist and when he retired, he took the opportunity to dive into his passion for golf since he could not get into the PGA. He worked at Rattlesnake Golf Course during the summers and took every chance he could to exercise the perks of free rounds of golf. But he continued his work as technology specialist for all Domondon family – our go-to person for slideshows, music playlists, and videos for events. He enjoyed visiting new places in Europe and Asia with his siblings and family members.

elevated ZvQ89 Rey is survived by Araceli and their children, Rachel, Reymon (Jamie), and Thomas (Alina). His 3 granddaughters. His siblings, Coeliflor, Percival, Mary and Eduardo. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers – Napoleon, Ernesto, Ramon, Hector and his sister Perla. He is sorely missed by 15 nieces and nephews and 19 grandnieces and grandnephews.
