elevated m471v Passed away suddenly after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by love and peace. Predeceased by his beloved wife Michele. Loving father to Adam (Marta) and Kerstin (Meghan), cherished grandfather to Olive and Zoe, and dear brother to Jane (Barry), David (Susan). He spent over 40 years building his business, and he prided himself in the strong relationships he fostered over the years. He and his wife enjoyed spending time in Haliburton with their strong network of devoted friends. He will be missed by all who knew him, but he has finally been reunited with his beloved Michele. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Shakir Rehmatullah Cancer Clinic, or the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.

When Rick came to the clinic recently he was a totally different person then the upbeat and devoted man who had accompanied his beloved Michelle during her visits to the same clinic. The Rick I knew was a kind, loving and welcoming person.
I am grateful that I had the pleasure of his company.
No doubt he is back to his old self reunited with the love of his life.

Very sorry to hear of Rick’s passing last year. He assisted me with small & larger purchases at 2 different manufacturing plants I worked at years ago. He was always very helpful & considerate no matter how small the purchase.
He was a nice guy and I am sure he had a positive impact on many people.
