I will always remember going to visit Zio Rino and walking around to the backyard, where he had a perfectly manicured fluffy lawn, a garden with so many yummy veggies so delicately cared for, and Zio always pinching my ears. Then heading inside where Zia Luciana always was making risotto to eat together.
Our memories will live on in our hearts forever!
Rest in peace Zio, you and Zia can now go dancing again together.

Zio Rino, although you will be missed and our hearts are hurting, we have many fond memories that we will forever cherish in our hearts.
Your family and friends meant everything to you. You loved people, great food and wine, singing, dancing and all things happy. You were a proud Italian and passionate about soccer. Above all, you were a hard working provider for your family.
You had a strong faith. You attended church regularly and were a proud member of the choir.
You accomplished a lot…as young teen immigrating from Italy to Canada to build a solid foundation for your family and your home was always inviting and welcoming.
You were someone that we could all rely on and lean on.
As you join your beloved wife Luciana, your footprint will remain in our hearts forever. We will miss you.
Rest In Peace.
You are loved.

My sincere cindolences to Peter, Debra and Sandi.
Your father was the most caring, thoughtful and compassionate person I have ever met. From the very first day I met Rino he has shown me nothing but respecting care for others. Rino was always there with a helping hand for others in any way that he could.
There will be so much I will miss about Rino, but I will always have the fond memories.
The memories of our road trips to North Bay and Parry Sound and the memories of stopping along the way to have a walk on the beach in Huntsville.
The memories of our lunches at Harveys and Rino having his fvourite meal….a hamburger and onion rings and the big smile on his face when he got his order. I will miss the stories that Rino would share with me during these road trips.
The recent memory of when I asked Rino if I could take him to get his hair cut because I thought his hair was getting long and how he looked over at my wife a said to her in Italian ” what does he know?.. He has no hair”. These are just a few of the many fond memories i will hold of the man I had the privilege of calling my father in law.
Rino…You will always be in my thoughts.
Rest in peace.
Peter, Francine, Vanessa, Rob, Stephen and Andrew

To all of the many friends and relatives of my dad.
He came to Canada as a young man and worked alongside his father as a bricklayer. He soon met the love of his life,Luciana. they married and shortly after with the help of his father he built a bungalow in Downsview and began to raise a family of three. One boy and two girls.
Twelve years later we moved to Willowdale alongside the Coletto family we we became lifelong friends.
My parents were hard working people and determined to give us a better life than they witnessed in Italy. (it was a time of war)
They once again moved toRichmond Hill again next to the Colettos.here they would live out there days.
it was here at St.Mary Immaculate that my parents were parishoners, and my father sang in the italian choir.
When my mother went to long term care in town it was convenient for my father to visit. It is now that I would like to thank my wife Francine for the countless hours she spent there with my mother.
After her passing my father was heartbroken and slowly began to decline and now he has passed.
I thank my sisters for all there efforts especially of late with Sandy dealing with all of his medical conditions and hospitalizations.also Debbie doing the essential weekly shopping and paying his bills.
Well its time to say goodbye for now dad, I pray that you will be made the promises of Christ and have everlasting life and once again be with mom.
Dear Oliver Family,
We are so very sorry to hear of your dad/nonno’s passing. Please know that we are thinking of all of you and hope that in time, his memories will bring you comfort. May he rest in peace.

Our deepest condolences to you Peter ,Debbie , and all of your family.
Next door neighbours from NorthYork to Richmond Hill for a lot of years. I remember all those years when our dads would compare who had made the best wine for that year and who had the best vegetable garden. It seemed like a competition every year or maybe just another reason to be able to get together for a chat and to share a glass of wine.
Your dad will always be remembered!
Dan
