It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Rita Rea (nee Perruzza) on May 7, 2026, at the age of 90 years. She was born in Sora, Frosinone, Italy, and passed away in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada surrounded by her loving family. She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents Domenico and Vincenza and siblings Mario, Angelina, Loreta, Alfredo, and Antonino. Beloved wife of nearly 67 years to Franco. Loving mother of Lorella and her husband Chahe. Proud Nonna of Alex and Steven (Hazra). Cherished sister of Valchiria (Ugo).
elevated cdRSy Rita will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her family and friends through all of the beautiful memories shared with her. She is lovingly remembered for her warmth and kindness, grace and elegance, creativity, unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends, and calming strength even during her times of suffering. Her legacy continues on through her family who honour her memory.
