It is with tremendous sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Rob Chorley on the morning of March 22nd 2021. His infectious smile and fantastic sense of humour will be greatly missed by all.
He leaves behind his best friend and love of his life of 46 years of marriage, Annmarie and his 3 loving children, Marlene (Jeremy), Michael (Heather), Shannon (Jay). He also leaves behind his 8 beautiful grandchildren whom he adored, Emily, Ethan, Myla, Kostas, Liam, Grace, Gavin and Austin. He will be deeply missed by his mother Margaret (Frank, predeceased) and his brother David (Nancy), his mother in law Mary, and brother in laws Ed (Deb), Terry (Linda) and his niece and nephews. Rob will always be remembered for his classic dad jokes, his amazing lawn, his love of game shows and sports. Go Leafs Go!

Tobi and I were so terribly saddened to hear the news. It’s unbelievable. We are thinking of you Annmarie and all of the family. His laugh and smile are unforgettable—it’s impossible not to picture him with a big smile on his face. Please know that even though we cannot be there for you in person, we are holding you in our hearts and sending our love and support.
Over my 35 years at Air Canada I can safely say Rob was the nicest guy I ever worked with. For the majority of that 35 years Rob and I were in the same department and worked closely together. We always laughed together, had fun and got the job done. Whether working together, playing gold or having beers, it was a laugh a minute with “Hammy”.
We have lost so many the last few years but Rob hurts a lot. His humor and kindness made him larger than life. You will be deeply missed my friend.

We had fun but were never late, missed or misloaded a flight as we made sure we got the load sheet before Ding, I’ll miss you both always.
I’ll never forget the time you flipped the open tractor on its side mid skid at the nose of a Lockheed! My heart stopped but you jumped up & we righted it with a cargo belt.
