elevated gNdd4 Robert (Bob) Corbeil, 81, of Malton, Ontario, passed away on August 11, 2021 peacefully in his home.
elevated gNdd4 Bob was born on August 7, 1940 to parents Hector and Laurette (nee Cantin) in Sudbury, Ontario. Later, he moved to Toronto and worked as a mechanic for Midas, Speedy, Levy Auto Parts and Humber College where he retired in 1997.
elevated gNdd4 Bob and his wife Imelda (Mel) (nee Kelly) of 60 years moved to Malton in 1972 with their children Alan Corbeil (Jane) and Lynne Corbeil-Fuller (Marc). He shared his time for the last 33 years between home and their recreational property in Midland, Ontario which served as a place for friends & family to gather and for his grandchildren Roger Corbeil (Tara) and Cory Fuller (Andrea) and Michael Bethune to swim and play.
elevated gNdd4 He is predeceased by siblings; Roland (Rolly), Fernand (Fern), Gerald (Gerry) and will be remembered dearly by Lionel (Leo), Ronald (Ron), Valarie and Hector.
elevated gNdd4 Anyone who knew Bob knew that he loved work around the yard, in and around the home and enjoyed tinkering with small engines and mechanical repairs. He was a reliable source when it came to helping others with their auto repairs.
elevated gNdd4 There are many stories of his youth, work, and family he loved to share so willingly. His great grandchildren Aiden, Ethan, Kennedi and Knox will have many to hear about years to come.
elevated gNdd4 Through his wishes, a private immediate family only gathering will be held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery – Mississauga, Ontario on August 13, 2021.

Spoke with you Saturday and wished you Happy Birthday and now…..I will miss you and I love you my brother. Now you and Fern can play your guitars and sing in harmony as you did growing up, such beautiful memories. Don’t forget mom will definitely join in with her fiddle. You will be missed by all.

He was awesome. Always made me smile. I remember him tying my tie for my dad’s funeral. Forever loved forever remembered. So many memories. Rest in peace uncle Bob. Now you get to be reunited with Richard and Madeline, Benny, Chuck, and Fred what a gathering. Condolences to all.
Uncle Bob.. you will be greatly missed.. always thought we would get to visit again soon. You were always so kind to me and Jennifer and could make us laugh. We will always remember you fondly this way. Rest In Peace..
