elevated 0OLLg It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Robert on January 25, 2019 at the age of 52. Loving son of Dionys and Ana Gasser. Dear brother of Joseph (Catharina) and Dennis (Tina). Beloved father of Magdalena and Emmalee. Uncle to Alexander, Matthew, Natasha, Alexis and Mitchell. He will be missed by his aunt Inge and uncle Rudi in Austria.The family will receive friends at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 8:15 – 9:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. The final rite of committal will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. A special thank you to the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit, Sunnybrook, for their excellent care and to the Young Family for their support. I am deeply sorry to hear of Robert’s passing, he was a good man and a good friend and he adored his daughters. I will always remember his positive attitude, enthusiasm and joy for life, I will miss him coming to my marathons to cheer me on. It was a pleasure to work with him and to know him as he always had stories to share and advice and support to give others. My thoughts are with you at this sad time
