elevated uEVfb Obituary
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Tankovich, a loving husband, devoted father, beloved brother and son, and cherished member of his community. He passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by his family.

elevated uEVfb Robert shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sanda. Together, they raised two beautiful daughters, Kristina and Amanda, who brought him endless pride and joy. He often said that being a father to two girls was one of his greatest achievements, ensuring to always protect them, guide them, and set them up for success, which he did so well. Family was at the heart of everything Robert did, and he found his greatest happiness in time spent with those he loved.

elevated uEVfb Robert lived a life defined by kindness, love, and quiet strength. To know him was to feel welcome and cared for. He had a way of connecting with people through simple moments, always greeting others with a warm smile, a hug, genuine interest, and, of course, a funny dad joke. His kind heart and wonderful soul left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was truly a great man.

elevated uEVfb Professionally, Robert was a dedicated dentist who over the years built deep and meaningful relationships with his patients, many of whom knew him for decades and admired not only his skill, but also his compassion and care. Robert was also deeply admired for his contributions to the Jozo Weider racing community. His legacy lives on through the many coaches and athletes he mentored and inspired. The ski club and community are stronger because of Robert’s dedication, generosity, endless enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment. He made a difference in more ways than he ever realized, and his influence will be remembered for years to come.

elevated uEVfb Robert found joy in life’s simple pleasures: time with his hunting crew, his appreciation for fine cigars as a true aficionado, and days spent skiing. He was an avid world traveler, but also loved settling in to watch Formula 1 and hockey, always enjoying the thrill of the race or the game. Just as important to him was sharing these passions with others, generously passing along his knowledge and enthusiasm to anyone eager to learn.

elevated uEVfb Robert will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, patients, and the many communities he touched. Though he is no longer with us, his memory lives on in the lives he shaped, the kindness he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will always be remembered with love and long celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

elevated uEVfb He is survived by his beloved wife, Sanda; his daughters, Kristina and Amanda; his father, Branko; his sister, Sania (Rajko) and their children, Nicole and Kristian; and brother-in-law, Gordan (Susan) and their children, Matthew (Vanessa) and Nicole.

elevated uEVfb He was predeceased by his mother, Dragica.

elevated uEVfb Rest in peace dear Robert.
