elevated 2MJQr Obituary
Roberto Lucci (November 10, 1931 – March 13, 2024)

elevated 2MJQr Beloved by so many, Roberto, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 13th , 2024 leaving an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. Roberto leaves behind his wife of 65 years Angelina and will be lovingly remembered by his 3 children Nino (Janet), Diana (Stephen) and Rick (Laura). Nonno was an inspiration and an amazing example of strength, devotion, and utter goodness to his grandchildren Tara (Rob), Robert, Janine (Matt), Matthew (Kendall), Daniel, Madelaine, William, and Jordana. Roberto was also blessed with four great grandchildren, Vanessa, Olivia, Leo, and Charlie.  His love for his family was boundless and he was immensely proud of the lives each one of them built. Roberto’s love extended beyond his family. He showered everyone he met with love and kindness making him a beacon of light, laughter, and friendship in the lives of many.

elevated 2MJQr Born in Pacentro, L’Aquila, Roberto was a proud Italian Canadian who overcame great challenges to build a life of tremendous joy, family and love, a testament to his incredible resilience and commitment to his family. His favourite moments were those surrounded by his family and friends, during celebrations or just simply in their presence. Above all he embodied a sense of duty and love for his family, a value he imparted on those around him. At every family event, his closing words, “I love you all. If I am not here next year, I hope you celebrate just the same,” echo as a poignant reminder of the importance of family unity and tradition. His love, joy, laughter and deep affection for everyone will be remembered and missed dearly. His spirit lives on, guiding us and inspiring us to live up to the cherished gift of the loving family he built and leaves behind. Roberto, dad, nonno, bisnonno – your life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace, dearest Roberto.
