Dear Sandra and Frank and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your father’s passing. Our family’s condolences go out to you and your family near and far. Words won’t be enough in the coming days but know you are thought of and cared about. It was a blessing to have him in your lives and he leaves you with rich memories of conversations and the many ways he touched your lives. Hold on to those for they are the precious treasures we have when our loved one goes to be with God. Thinking of you Sandra and sending hugs. I’m sorry I can’t be there to give you those hugs myself–another funeral. xo Denise and family
Anna, Sandra, Sante and your entire families. It is with the heaviest heart that I even have to write this. As my own father and mother age, and as I have to attend more and more of my friends’ parents funerals, it becomes apparent that we all know life moves forward not backward. It still doesn’t make it easy. Your father was always the forever gentleman! I remember he was one of the first client’s my father ever brought with him and your father was so patient and kind in my early years of navigating how to do insurance. I’ll never forget his professionalism and kindness. your Mom and Dad, that generation – there will be few others like them. they knew what it was like ‘starting from the bottom’…. it’s what made them so special. it’s what made them full of character, integrity and love. I hope we will all play it forward to our own kids/nieces and nephews and each other. they’ll be happy in heaven knowing we continue what they started with our siblings and families. that’ll be their best legacy. You have all made him proud NO doubt. all of you have always been great ambassadors of their lives. I wish him peace in heaven with Vinnie for we still miss her so much. my best memories in university was my time with the gismondi and corona ‘kids’ LOL. Loving our parents and having them as long as we did is a gift and/so to all of you, I celebrate Rocco and his wonderful life and the beautiful family he created. May you find peace in the memories I’m sure will live on. Your friend always Cathy Ciccolini and George Ioannides
