It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Romolo “Romeo” Cantera on December 10, 2025, at Margaret Bahen Hospice at the age of 90. Son of Alfredo and Maria Cantera, born on July 15,1935 in Civitaretenga L’ Aquila Italy. Beloved husband of 66 years to Caterina (nee Luciani). Loving father of Carlo (Estelle) and Diana (Saverio) Cirone. Proud Nonno of Victor, Delano (Amy), Joshua, and Karalea (Tom). Dear brother of Leosina, Nicola, Vincenza, Giannina, Augusto, Pasquale, Vittoria, Loreta, Anna Maria. Romeo will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Hello Diana. I’m so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. My deepest condolences to you and your family, Your mother Caterina and your brother Carlo. He was a great bricklayer and a great hunter. He would always have his freezer full of game. He will be missed.
