It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Amelia Martins on December 11, 2025, at the age of 77. Rosa passed peacefully with her loving family by her side, surrounded by warmth and love. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.
elevated 1DtLN She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, João Martins, and her children: Odilia Martins (Mark), Fatima Martins, Diana Martins (Trevor), Melissa Martins (Stephen), and Rosa Hawkins (Robert). Rosa’s greatest joy was her family, and she adored her grandchildren: Jade, Nash, Ayverie, Alyssa, Joao, Thomas, Aiden, Sadie, Morgan, Aiden, Ariana, Amelia, Lucas, Lily, Justin, Kenny, Sarah, and Ryan
elevated 1DtLN Rosa will be remembered for her strength, her grace, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
elevated 1DtLN Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Assumption Catholic Funeral Home, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON L5T 1N4.
Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 16th at 1:30 PM at the same location, followed by a reception at Odilia’s house.
